Utilizing fast-scanning receivers, the Airborne COMINT system is able to detect, intercept, direction find (DF), collect, geolocate, measure, analyze, recognize and identify conventional burst signals and frequency hopping signals at an incredible rate of speed. This provides users with almost instantaneous real-time data, helping them make up-to-the-second decisions in often complex environments.

The CAS-5100 helps users in both peace and wartime environments, with applications including early threat warning, electronic order of battle development, spectrum management, and search and rescue.
