DRS Advanced Program Support (APS) is a business line within DRS Advanced ISR, offering a comprehensive and systematic approach that has been employed and refined over years of service to its customers.
DRS APS offers a highly qualified, service-oriented team with the support and capabilities of a large company for unique customers and programs. In possession of military backgrounds and appropriate clearance levels, the APS team is equipped with the expertise to support program requirements.
DRS APS commands a robust security program comprised of comprehensive policies and experienced personnel supporting classified programs for both the IC and DoD customers. Our Security Team fully understands that the security conditions for these unique and challenging efforts are a significant prerequisite for the overall success of the program. We have developed and implemented innovative security programs and processes. These programs are in the areas of program protection, security awareness, and personnel processing. The Team has developed security plans for both developing and operational systems that support a wide range of customers and program types. Our Team has proven specific expertise in supporting security for sensitive programs. In accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM - DoD 5220.22-M), paragraph 1-206, and Section II of the Department of Defense Security Agreement (DD Form 441) executed between DRS Advanced ISR and the U.S. Government. A security vulnerability assessment for our facility was conducted in April 2015, resulting in our facility’s security posture receiving its 4th consecutive rating of Superior. DRS Advanced ISR / APS (cage code 5AQM5) was granted a Facility Clearance (FCL) of Top Secret on 11 June 2010. We operate with a document safeguarding level of TOP SECET, with a fully-accredited closed area, capable of receiving, generating, and storage of classified material and hardware up to and including TOP SECRET.
