software platform for automated machinery control systems, is based on the new U.S. Navy Open Architecture Computing Environment (OACE) standards. It leverages the best of commercial automation software packages and naval software development expertise combined into a scalable architecture that can automate systems from small OEM products up to entire shipboard platform integration.
OpenSea™ is a multi-tier architecture that segregates Human Machine Interface, programmable logic, and system level functionality.
This software has been developed and deployed on three of the U.S. Navy’s four newest platforms, including the machinery control for the U.S. Navy’s most highly automated vessel: the Freedom Class of Littoral Combat Ships.
